Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
1. Summary
Your photos are yours. SwipeZen analyzes your photos on your device and never uploads your photos or videos to any server. The free version of the app shows optional ads provided by Google AdMob, which collects limited device data as described in section 4. SwipeZen Premium has no ads.
2. How We Process Your Photos
- On-Device Processing: Duplicate, similar, blurry, screenshot and large-video detection run directly on your device using Apple's frameworks (Photos and Vision).
- No Photo Uploads: We do not have servers that receive or store your photos or videos. Your media never leaves your iPhone.
- Deletions: Items you delete are moved to the "Recently Deleted" album of the Photos app, where they can be recovered for 30 days.
- Secret Vault: Photos moved to the Secret Vault are stored only inside the app on your device, protected by iOS Data Protection and unlocked with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
3. Permissions We Request
- Photo Library Access: Used to display your media in the app, to delete the items you choose, and to save compressed videos or still images you choose to create.
- Face ID / Touch ID: Used only to unlock your Secret Vault. Authentication is handled by iOS; we never receive your biometric data.
- App Tracking Transparency: You may be asked whether apps may track you. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
4. Advertising (Free Version)
The free version shows optional ads, such as a short video you can choose to watch for extra Smart Energy. These ads are served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt;
- Your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- Device and app information, and how you interact with ads.
If you do not allow tracking, Google shows non-personalized or less personalized ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are requested, and you can change your choice anytime under Settings > Privacy Settings in the app. Learn how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Other Data
- App Configuration: The app downloads a small settings file (for example, daily energy amounts) from our hosting provider. This request contains no personal data, although the hosting provider receives your IP address as part of any internet connection.
- Purchases: Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.
- Analytics: We do not use analytics SDKs such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel, and we do not sell your personal data.
6. Children
SwipeZen is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
